Everything fine then. I still think back with pleasure to the weeks in your apartment in New York. How enchanting it was on the terrace in the morning – so many sparrows in the bamboo, singing me a morning song. And there was a squirrel too asking for something. So I went over to the Deli next door and asked for old bread. They had some. The last morning it took a piece of bread from my hand.

I was swash-buckled by the amazing plethora of facilities available, stayed at the Garden Duplex Apartment and right from the patio to the kitchen to the rooms and all that was present were seriously flabbergasting!

I have never come across something as serene and as subtle as the Garden View Apartment, the facilities were amazing and the place was beautiful, it was a perfect what you call it as a ‘Perfect Zen Retreat’ for me and my family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone and if you want to spend some good quality time with your family away from the hustle bustle of the city, mind you that East Village Apartments are the best for you eyes closed! Very inviting and very appealing, I don’t have words to describe the enjoyment and relaxing we had!

We couldn’t have asked for a better apartment and couldn’t fault anything.

The whole apartment provided us with everything we needed. Once we arrived we realised that this was a reliable leasing agent who kept in touch all the way through and removed any worries we may have had. Little extras that had been provided really made the trip and we didn’t want for anything.

Very comfy beds and nice linen. Everything in the apartment worked, from the TV’s, the free wifi and kitchen appliances to the extra cable channels that kept the kids amused. The location is excellent and all the main areas of interest are really accessible. The private garden was a real surprise and a bonus space to what was already a large apartment. These things make being away from home very easy.All in all a place I will visit again when in NYC!!

This apartment worked great for a quick business trip to NYC. We stayed in the Sol suite. Even though I was booking day of, Sudha got back to me within 10 minutes with a special deal and left great instructions for our late check-in (including a recommendation for amazing thai food up the street). The location was perfect – we had meetings in Brooklyn and Midtown and there were multiple subway lines just blocks away. Also the East Village provides for a lot of great night-life and restaurants once we wrapped meetings and our apartment was less than 10 minutes walking from both East Village and Soho. Despite there being an awesome Irish bar across the street, our apartment was perfectly quiet. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and there is a full washer/drier & full kitchen- which if we had a longer stay would have been very helpful. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet spot in the middle of one of New York’s trendiest neighborhoods. Thanks for the great stay, Sudha! Looking forward to returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed this apartment and location set in the heart of NYC’s East Village. Having stayed in the area numerous times over the past years, this accommodation stands out as a very well managed, clean, comfortable pad, in a character building. It is attractively decorated, with soaring ceilings, bathed in daylight, fully equipped for daily living, cooking, socializing, etc. Spring time on the private terrace was wonderful, with a morning coffee, or evening glass in hand. Congrats to the owner and management.

This was the best AirBnB stay I have ever had!!!! The hosts were responsive, caring, and lovely to work with. Our TV had an issue and it was immediately fixed by the nicest super in the world, all our requests and questions were answered immediately. The place is beautiful, it so exceeded my expectations of the photos, it is a light-filled spacious apartment. I stayed there for almost a month for work and everything was perfect. Shopping in the neighborhood is accessible, it is close to subways, there are great restaurants, etc. It is perfect for a group of 5-6 (couples included). The amenities are exceptional, the kitchen has everything you need to cook and have small intimate dinners, the bathroom has a large tub and both bathrooms have steam accessibility. They provide you with umbrellas, iron and ironing board, a shopping cart to go get food, it has a laundry and dryer (for my long stay that was key!) I really can’t say enough about how great the place is- some of the days in February were 60 degrees so I was able to use the terrace as well and I definitely want to come back in the spring/ summer sometime. I loved the layout of the place, the bedrooms are on one floor so those who are late sleepers have quiet, and the kitchen living area, the terrace is on the top floor. The heat was great in February and I am always cold. The wifi is high speed which for my work is essential. The beds are great to sleep in, it is quiet and sometimes in the morning, you hear birds chirping in the garden so you feel like you are not even in the city. It is the east village so it has the flavor of old New York, there are some characters on the street but I always felt safe and completely alright. It is a two-floor walk-up, and I am 58 and had no problem at all, my husband who needs a knee replacement and has knee pain was also was fine. In terms of two-floor walk-ups too it is not steep or super long staircases like some buildings in NYC I have been in. Clean clean clean too! There is a woman who comes to clean weekly and she is amazing and so kind- we loved her. This is a beautiful Airbnb, I am scared to say too much for fear of it getting overbooked but I like the people who run it so much I want to say it as it is. FANTASTIC AirBnB!!!!”

Really enjoyed our stay – place was perfect for a family group of 8, across 3 generations of family. EV folks were top notch. Clean, well appointed, comfortable, nice amount of space to spread out. Brian, Courtney, Irish (the man on the street) were all very helpful, above and beyond. Thank you!

This is an amazing two-floor penthouse apartment in a very vibrant part of Manhattan. Everything about our stay was wonderful – from the initial communication with Brain to the check-in process to the really great amenities (including a very good bottle of wine!). Having an outdoor terrace in the heart of the city was just that extra plus that made this all the better. The apartment was clean and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen was large and well-appointed and would easily be able to be used to prepare meals for a group or family. The living room/dining room/kitchen area is on the top floor so away from the bedrooms that are on the lower floor. This is great I have some people that want to stay up late without disturbing others that want to retire early. There are two showers, the larger one has a hand-held shower wand and a large elephant shower head, a steam bath and a Jacuzzi tub. Very great shower experience. East Village also provides optional car service to/from the major airports (we used it to get to JFK on our departure day). The car service is professional and takes all the hassle out of traveling between the apartment and airport. I highly recommend staying here!

The home was AMAZING! We loved space, so bright and airy, perfect for a girls weekend. We cooked dinner and ate on the patio, it was magical! They even helped arrange a car for us to the airport, would defiantly recommend.

This apartment is so chic and perfect for a girl’s weekend with my sister. We each had our own beds and the sheets were soft and amazing. I’d actually love to know where to purchase a set of these sheets for my apartment back home. We visited on such a warm weekend, and being from Colorado I’m not used to the humidity, so the AC at night was a god-send. There’s also a cute little courtyard in the back filled with green trees and birds singing and there were people enjoying conversations out on their patios, which all felt very cozy and European. We were right near Soho which is dangerous for the wallet but so fun – there was a ton of shopping and cute places to grab wine on the patio. I’m obsessed and recommending all my friends to stay down here next time they’re in town for work.

This experience was five stars all the way! Checking in was simple and the attention to detail throughout the apartment was impressive! The apartment was clean, spacious and felt much more like a home than a hotel or vacation rental. You cannot ask for a better location as we were able to explore all of lower manhattan on foot with access to tons of amazing restaurants and bars. Anytime I’m staying in the city I will be sure to book with East Village Apartments! 5 Stars all the way

Charming 1 bedroom with great character in a fantastic neighborhood! I really enjoyed recommendations for Kona Coffee and margaritas and fish tacos at Rosies. The wifi connection is great, the apartment is very quiet and the shower is amazing. The apartment felt very safe (and very easy to access) and I loved that I was able to practice my violin without disturbing anyone. Overall a great apartment and I highly recommend staying here!

One of the rooms was much much smaller than the other. Not a total shock as this had been shown on the website but it is tricky if you have 4 people living in the apartment for a week. Excellent location and great apartment. The hosts arranged an airport transfer for us which made things very easy. They also looked after our bags on check out day which was helpful. Couldn’t have been easier.

I also loved the neighbourhood- I felt like I was actually living in New York not staying in a tourist trap. Loved our time here and would definitely stay in another of the properties. Beds and pillows were excellent – better than my bed at home! The location is fantastic – lots to see and do around the village and close to subway stations. Little touches like supplying good quality umbrellas were appreciated on the couple of wet days we had. We loved the homey feel of the place – so much better than a hotel room – and for our group of five it was perfect.
